Who we are

What we hold
Only what a commission requires: your name and contact details, the party travelling, dates, addresses and timings, billing details, and any preference or sensitivity you choose to tell us. We do not build profiles and we do not buy data.
Why we hold it
To answer an enquiry and to perform the commission, to meet tax and administrative obligations, and to run the house itself. Where we rely on legitimate interest, it is the plain interest of arranging travel that works.
Who sees it
The people arranging your commission, and the chauffeur assigned to it — no more than the day requires. Hotels, restaurants and partner operators receive only the detail needed to hold a booking. Nothing is sold, listed or passed on for marketing.
How long
Enquiries that come to nothing are removed within twelve months. Records tied to invoices are kept for seven years, as Dutch law requires. Retainer clients may ask us to keep standing preferences on file, and may ask us to forget them at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or erase it, object to a use, or ask for it in portable form. Write to us and you will have an answer within a month. You may also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Concierge and journeys
Where we reserve a room, a table or an event on your behalf, we pass only the names and details that booking requires — and only to that house. Journeys across Europe mean the same detail may reach hotels and partner operators in other EU or EEA countries; where a route takes us beyond them, we share nothing without telling you first. Dietary notes, access needs or anything else you tell us in confidence are given to a venue only with your say-so, and are never kept longer than the commission.
This website
The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and loads nothing from anyone else’s servers — even the typefaces are served from here rather than a third party’s. Nothing about your visit is recorded.
Sending the enquiry form is the one moment anything leaves this site. What you write is carried to our inbox by a form service acting on our instructions. It records the address you send from and the time, and passes those to two spam services so that what reaches us is genuine. The service is based outside the EEA, and the transfer rests on the standard clauses the law provides for. It holds a copy for thirty days; our own records follow the timetable above. We will name the service, and the parties it relies on, to anyone who asks.
